Repository / Self-Archiving Policy
Alamanda Research in Management (ARiM) supports and encourages responsible self-archiving. Author(s) are permitted to deposit their work in institutional repositories, subject repositories, recognized preprint servers, or on personal websites.
Eligible Versions
Author(s) may archive the following versions:
- Preprint: the version of the manuscript before peer review.
- Author’s Accepted Manuscript (AAM): the version of the manuscript after peer review and acceptance, but before copyediting and typesetting.
- Version of Record (VoR): the final published version of the article.
Embargo
ARiM applies no embargo period to any version. Author(s) may deposit and make available:
- the preprint at any time, including before submission;
- the AAM immediately upon acceptance; and
- the VoR immediately upon publication.
Preprint Policy
ARiM allows authors to post preprints on recognized preprint servers or repositories (e.g., OSF Preprints, SSRN, SocArXiv/PsyArXiv, Research Square). If a manuscript has been posted as a preprint, author(s) must disclose the preprint DOI/URL at the time of submission. Preprints should be clearly labeled as not peer-reviewed.
Attribution and Linking
When self-archiving, author(s) should clearly acknowledge ARiM as the original source of publication. After publication, author(s) are expected to update archived records, especially preprints and AAMs, by adding the full citation and a link/DOI to the final published article (VoR) on the journal website.
